Molded ceramic, painted under a colorless transparent glaze, epicts a young prince on horseback shooting a bow at the Simourg bird ; a frieze of palmettes runs along the upper rim; the figure is dated and identified in Persian in a medallion on the upper frieze; there are glaze chips and a metal suspension bracket.
